Christian and I met in Augusta, Georgia while we were both students at Augusta University. Christian was in his senior year studying Cybersecurity and Business Administration and I was pursuing my Masters Degree in Nutrition. We were both out with friends on Halloween night when our paths crossed.

Our first date was at a local coffee shop in Augusta. We ended up talking for hours and didn't want the date to end! We spent the next year studying at Rooted Coffeehouse together, hiking Savannah Rapids trails, cheering on the Augusta Greenjackets baseball team, and falling in love.

After we graduated, we began job searching and started dating long-distance over the next year. Long-distance dating called for FaceTime calls and meeting halfway for date nights. We learned a lot about each other during that time and the importance of good communication!

Once we were both settled in our first jobs out of school, we moved across the street from each other to Brookhaven, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. It has been special being able to be so close to one another after being apart for a year.

Christian proposed on his birthday weekend and planned wonderful engagement parties with our families. We are so excited for our future together and can't wait to celebrate our wedding day with our closest loved ones!
